Poetry can be a beautiful addition to a wedding, whether it is a reading in the service, a gift to the couple or to other members of the wedding party, or included on the wedding invitations. In wedding ceremonies, well-known love poems are often read, but in Wales, there is a strong tradition of a poet composing bespoke poems to celebrate social occasions, including weddings.
